Swyft Filings Quotes $149. The Billing Interval Attached to It Is a Quarter.
A flat $99 buys one year of registered agent service in South Carolina — the registered office, same-day scanning of court papers, and reminders before state deadlines.
The disclosure, so it is not buried: this page belongs to SC Registered Agent.org, our own agent service in this state runs $99 a year, and we are hoping you buy it. The Swyft Filings numbers reproduced here are the ones Swyft Filings itself advertises, captured during a July 2026 pricing review and quoted as found.
What Swyft Filings Does Well
Swyft Filings is a functioning formation company with a filing operation behind it, a support line that picks up, and a checkout process built for people who do not want to read a statute before starting a business. Founders who used it to create a South Carolina LLC generally got what they paid for on the formation side, and this page makes no claim about the quality of the service delivered.
Our objection is arithmetical and it concerns one word in the pricing.
The Word Is "Quarterly"
Swyft Filings advertises agent service at $149. The billing interval attached to that figure is a quarter rather than a year. Four charges land in twelve months, so the annualized figure is roughly $596, and no introductory rate turned up in our July 2026 review to soften the first of them.
Nothing about that is concealed. The interval is stated. It is simply that a quarterly number sitting in a market where nearly every competitor quotes annually does most of its work before a reader consciously compares anything. A single charge of $596 would read as expensive. Four charges of $149 read as manageable, and they are the same money.
Multiply before you compare. That is the entire lesson of this page, and it applies to every subscription priced on a short interval, ours included if we ever tried it.
| Period | Swyft Filings | SC Registered Agent.org |

| Per billing cycle | $149 per quarter | $99 per year |

| Five years | ~$2,980 | $495 |
Sixty Changes of Agent
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order HereSouth Carolina prices a change of registered agent at ten dollars, which makes the state a convenient unit of measurement for any annual figure in this category.
Divide the Swyft annualized rate by that ten and the result lands near sixty. One year of agent service, at the quarterly rate, costs roughly what South Carolina would charge to rewrite the agent line on your public record sixty separate times. There is no owner alive who needs sixty agent changes, and that is the point. Sixty is a number chosen by the state to be trivial, and one Swyft year is sixty of them stacked up.
Ours is $99 for the same twelve months of the same statutory function.
The Ninety-Nine, Unpacked
An address in South Carolina that occupies the agent and designated office entries on your filing so that yours stays off them. Service of process imaged and delivered to your portal within the business day it arrives, with an email going out as it posts, because the clock a summons starts does not wait for you to open an envelope. A stored record of everything we have ever accepted for the company. Routine business mail scanned at a published $15 per item. And a renewal invoice reading $99, because that is what the first one read.
Somebody does publish less than we do. BetterLegal's yearly figure is $90. We claim membership in the low tier of published South Carolina rates rather than the bottom of it, and we claim that the figure is held for the life of the account.
The South Carolina Filing That Ends a Swyft Filings Subscription
One document, ten dollars, and the Secretary of State.
South Carolina records the whole thing on one notice, whether you are moving the designated office, swapping the agent, or doing both together, and that notice is available two ways. The paper version can be downloaded from the Secretary of State's forms library and mailed with payment. The same change can be entered electronically instead, inside the state's Business Entities Online system, which is where most filings now originate. Either channel produces the same result and costs the same ten dollars.
The notice asks for your entity name, the current designated office and agent details, and the name and street address of the agent taking over. Your existing provider is not asked to approve the change and cannot delay it.
Then the sequencing, which matters more here than usual because quarterly billing gives you four exit points a year rather than one. Engage the incoming agent before the notice goes in. The form has no way to express a vacancy, and South Carolina treats the obligation to maintain an agent as an unbroken one rather than something checked annually. So: enrol with us, we complete the notice with our South Carolina details, you file it and pay the state, you watch the business search until the agent field shows our name, and the Swyft subscription gets cancelled at that point and not before.
Ten dollars, once. Compare that against what accrues while you wait for a more convenient moment.
Our South Carolina rankings lay all nine providers side by side at their published rates.
